This is one of Andy's favourite images from the expedition. The photo was captured 1 hour and 7 minutes after sunset, at Bob's Cove, near Queenstown on ANZAC day. We had just witnessed a wonderful sunset, and continued taking images until the last light faded. We packed up our cameras, folded our tripods and began walking to the car, our paths lit by head torches. For some reason we both turned around, following the old maxim that the best light is often behind you. We were greeted by this image of an isolated snow storm highlighted by the last rays of the sun.
