"Transient Warmth"

"Transient Warmth"

As photographers, we all have different approaches to our art and image creation. Personally I like to review my images within 2-3 days of the capture process, so that the emotion and atmosphere of both the location and moment are still fresh in my mind, and hopefully I can translate some of that during image processing. Others wait for varying periods and often years before reviewing some images. The advantage of this is that time often places that image into perspective, and what one may consider a potentially good image at the time of capture, may in hindsight be a mediocre image seen though rose coloured glasses, tinted with the immediacy of the experience.

Andy is one such photographer, who has waited almost 3 years to look at some of his images from New Zealand. When he gave me a preview last night, I could clearly see it was worth the wait.
